Dave Shecter is a classically trained actor with over 10 years of experience in video and film. He is currently acting in his 10th feature film with Mahal Empire Productions and producing his second feature film for DayNight Pictures, a company he and his business partner, Earl Gray, started. Mr. Shecter has also made appearances in popular TV shows such as Grimm and Z-Nation along with numerous indie films and local TV commercials. 

 

Dave received his degree through Everett Community College where he excelled in theater. He was cast in the stage production of Prelude to a Kiss for a 5-night run which was well received by audiences. Mr. Shecter’s work has since garnered several awards for film performances over his career.  

 

Mr. Shecter is trained in stunt fighting as well as Meisner acting techniques, and continues to study acting with top notch teachers and coaches in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to acting, Dave enjoys producing, directing, writing and all aspect of filmmaking, and thus can often be found collaborating on projects with everything from props to location scouting. 

 

In addition to acting, Mr. Shecter is also a talented musician and songwriter, with over a dozen published songs and music videos to his credit.  When he is not acting in film or commercials, Dave enjoys spending time in the studio recording and shooting music videos of his work.
